There are innumerous flowers in nature and they exhibit different types of symmetry. The petals could be fused or separate, identical in shape and size as well. This gives form to radial or actinomorphic symmetry. The other type of symmetry in nature which flowers usually exhibit is bilateral or zygomorphic, which is intricate in nature. The latter symmetry attracts different insects or pollinators to come in a particular manner, which increases the chances of pollination.
