Pain in dogs can be hard for both the owner and the dog. Pain relief for dog like medications and herbs can help to relieve the pain. But which one to use and how do they work?

My dog was recently hit by a pickup truck. The vet prescribed amoxicillin for infection, denamarin for his bruised liver and tramadol for his pain. He also has bruised lungs & ribs, his back right leg was degloved & now sutured, his front right leg is painful. All considered he's doing alright. It is uncomfortable for him to lay on right side. He spends much of his time resting. I have introduced arnica& hypericum for inflamation & bruising. His food is all natural with turmeric added. Is it ok to give him feverfew as well? Are there any interactions between tramadol & feverfew? Does tramadol cause constipation? I started giving him probiotic, do you recommend anything else? Thank you!
