One of the greatest things in the world is feeling that you finally found the person that complements you and your life. So after a few months of dating, you finally saw the future of you two spending the rest of your life together. You thought you had found true happiness but then suddenly the unexpected happened. At first he said he was only busy, but as days passed by, he was slowly becoming unavailable for you. Your calls, texts and emails were left unanswered. You began to worry that something might have happened to him and you were still in denial and tried to trick yourself to believe that he might just be busy that’s why he had not answered a single call from you for more than a week. Until your friends woke you up in reality so you started to help yourself and let go. And the suckiest part is, when you finally accepted that he was gone, here he came again, asking how you were. This disappearing and then reappearing situation is really annoying.

When a Guy Disappears and Reappears

When facing such a situation, you may feel so desperate for reasons why he treats you like this, making you repeatedly experience despair after seeing some hope. Let's figure out why and how to deal with this situation together so as to enjoy a better life
1

He needs something from you

A man will not suddenly call you after weeks of being silent just because he wants to. The main reason behind this could be that he wants something from you. Either he needs to borrow something from you, ask you something or worse, he needs a booty call. Just don’t fall for it.

2

He wants to boost his ego

Whether men would admit this or not, having some ego boost is something that they occasionally need. For example, he knows that you loved him so much but he still chose to dump you. Months later, he will call to reassure himself that somewhere there is someone who is head over heels for him and someone who will always be there for him. This may sound unfair if you are the one who are dumped, so protect yourself. Remind yourself that when it’s over, it’s over.

3

He was reminded of you

When a guy disappears and reappears, it may not be out of his own will. This happens to everyone -- seeing something or smelling a scent that totally reminds you of your ex. This is also a reason sometimes used by men when they genuinely miss their exes. Just don’t believe everything that he says because he is not here for you for long in this case.

4

He is selfish

There is no better word that I can use to describe a guy who always does the disappearing act but the term “selfish”. Men who do this want their egos to be fed but will not return the favor to their partners by showing love and care. They just want to feel that they are capable of finding someone to love them or that somebody is willing to gamble their heart just for them. These men are selfish so stay away from them. If your ex is the one who's always receiving your love but does not give what you deserve, he is not worth it.

5

His relationship with the girl he dumped you for did not work

This is one of the most painful realities when it comes to love and dating -- finding out that the person you loved most dumped you for someone else. But hey, they did not work out! Haha! Karma is at its best. Men usually try to go back to their previous relationships when all else fail. This is because they need some comfort or ego boost especially if they know that the one they left behind is very much in love with them. Be careful, you don’t need a man who won’t even stand by you.

6

Somebody asked them about you

Humans unconsciously miss someone when they are asked about that person. But when a guy disappears and reappears, it is very painful for both parties, especially the girl. That's even so if the girl was the one who loved more. But some people just don’t understand how irritating it is whenever they keep on asking about others about their past relationships. It is like picking on a not-fully-healed wound. Next time, just politely say that you've moved forward and do not want to talk about it.

7

He is challenged by you

Men need their ego to always be fed. When a guy disappears and then reappears, probably you've unintentionally bruised his ego so here he is trying to prove you wrong. An example of this is that you had been very vocal to him about your intentions of getting back with him again during and after the breakup. But then you suddenly stop all the communication. He will now begin to wonder what has happened and why you are able to survive without talking to him.

8

He wants to get laid

This is a big no-no. Men think that it will be easier to convince an ex-girlfriend to have sex with him especially if he knows that his ex is still in love with him. So here you are the ex-girlfriend. You agree to his wants because you think that he truly loves you and that he wants to have sex with you because he adores you so much. Wake up girl. You are not even sure how many girls he has called and he may be just waiting to see who will answer first. He will surely disappear again after getting what he wants from you.

The best thing to do when a guy disappears and reappears is to just ignore him and don’t even bother taking his call. Move on. Find someone who can offer you genuine love and care because that’s what you truly deserve.
