We Americans still don't get it. You cannot win a war when the people your fighting are willing to die for their cause.France, England and all European can only keep isis out of their countries. The middle east must fight isis in order to prevent their spread around the world. -
Has anyone seen the movie Forrest Gump? If not you should see it because it actually has a war scene in Vietnam.

.the Tet Offensive of 1968 was a terrible loss for the North Vietnamese and the Vietnam Cong. The American Media made it look like we lost. It took the North Vietnamese almost two years to recover and field a fighting force in South Vietnam as so many of them were killed. This is from their leadership admission, not Walter Cronkite and his likes. We did not lose the war; our Congress failed to support the effort any longer after Nixon's Watergate problems. Our Congress also abanded our POW's in North Vietnam and Laos by not following through with the money promised North Vietnam in the Paris Treaties.
