I was totally shocked when I heard the news that Michael, will be leaving the show in September. After hearing Michael talk about it on the show some thing didn't sit right the way the news was perceived by Michael, Kelllys name was not really mentioned until the end score the show. Odd? Curious!!

I love kelly and Michael and wish them well in any thing that they choose to do.

It's all about the money, isn't it? I am glad these Millionaires have so much money and that Kelly and Michael have so many jobs - don't feel sorry for either one of them!

ABC really goofed here, much like NBC did with Ann Curry. It was very rude and disrespectful that ABC and Michael Strahan fid not includev Kelly Ripa in their planning. But it's over now and I hope she walks off and leaves Gilman and ABC holding the bag.

I love Kelly and Michael. I am disappointed that he is leaving. They really seemed to enjoy each other's company on Live. I'm sure that was so hurtful to Kelly to have not been informed earlier of Michael's departure. Very rude and disrespectful! She has been the baspckbone of the show for years. She deserved better. This may be the demise of Live!

It's just so sad that Kelly gets so much money and feels so disrespected yet keeps coming to work.......SERIOUSLY????

I'm sure why Kelly wasn't informed on Michael leaving but I wish both of them well..People leave for other jobs to make more money all the time so I'm not mad at him..

I know of absolutely no one stupid enough to announce in the workplace "Hey, I'm trying to find another job so I can get outta here!" To have done so would have been professional-suicide, especially if the deal fell thru. Michael and his agent were right to keep mum until the deal was done. I love "Live" but I am happy for Michael. Kelly showed an ugly side throughout this situation. To me, she acted as though Michael was "her property" and as if she truly expected ABC and Michael to "beg her permission" before he could advance his career. I think her absence from the show for several days was immature, unprofessional and more disrespectful to Michael and their fans than anything Michael did. It was ABC that jumped the gun in announcing the deal, but look what happened...Michael got disrespected and has to exit "Live" immediately. Oh well... Nonetheless, I wish them BOTH much continued success.

Dont see the big deal with the Kelly and Michael controversy. People make career changes every day.Has anyone noticed how rude Kelly is about totally interupting her different co- hosts constantly? Its like what she has to say is more important.The only person she doesnt interupt is Anderson Cooper. I really like him and think he is interesting. Sorry yall I just think Kelly talks too much and more often than not wont let her co- hosts complete their thought. May as well be the KELLY show!

I can't believe she gets $20 million dollars a year as it is she sure isn't worth that kind of money if you ask me, for 1 hr a day 5 days a week and that is when she isn't on vacation.
