Gintama

Also known as 'Silver Soul’ or Gin Tama, it’s a Japanese manga anime series character first introduced to the public on April 4th 2006. In the initial setting, a character by the name of Gintoki wards off a group of alien creatures to protect Tae and Shinpachi from abduction. After the conflict, he later shows exaggerated desire to read a certain magazine called Weekly Shōnen Jump, but other characters are not so willing to let him jump queue which leads to small altercation in order to get it. Gintama’s theme revolves around the characters trying to bring about social order in the society, this is after a group of aliens invaded it and tried to change things.

Kill la Kill

Kill la Kill is a popular TV anime produced In Japan by Trigger Corporation. It follows through the life of a vagrant schoolgirl named Ryuko Matoi who’s searching for her late father's killer, so as to revenge for the murder. In her quest she comes into direct conflict with Satsuki Kiryuin, an iron-fisted student council leader of Honnouji Academy, and also her mom’s fashion empire which is opposed to the young lady’s quest. The students of this school wear a special Goku Uniform which gives them supernatural powers, mainly because they're constructed with a special fabric known as Life Fibers. However, Ryuko Matoi wields a powerful scissor-shaped longsword that can cut through Goku Uniforms and challenges the board council for a duel as she searches for the dad's killer.

Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball is a Japanese Manga written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. The series starts off with a boy with a monkey-tail named Goku befriending a teen girl called Bulma, he actively accompanies her to find the Seven Dragon Balls, which is a magical charm that summon the dragon named Shenlong to grant the successful person one wish. The quest leads them to a dangerous desert bandit named Yamcha, who they have to fight in order to proceed forth.

Astro Fighter Sunred

Astro Fighter Sunred was created by anime developer Makoto Kubota, its setting revolves around Tama River area in Kawasaki City Kanagawa where battles fought get waged between the evil organization Florsheim and Sunred who represent good. The twist of this anime is that Sunred group consists of rough-talking, fierce and rude heros while Florsheim villains are mostly polite, meticulous and easy-going. Apart from these two sides, there are also other evil organizations and heroes mentioned occasionally in the series.

One Piece

One Piece is a pirate adventure manga series written by Eiichiro Oda, it has been translated to many languages and has over the years spawned immense media coverage. The story follows the adventures of 17 yr-old boy named Monkey D. Luffy. His body gained the same properties as rubber from accidentally taking a super-natural fruit. He travels the oceans looking for a cure and forms a crew of sea pirates called 'Straw Hats’ to help him out.

Assassination Classroom

Assassination Classroom is written and illustrated by Japanese anime developer Yusei Matsui. The theme revolves around a dangerous octopus-like instructor with tentacles, he has destroyed almost 70% of the moon making it look like a crescent. This evil creature has vowed to do the same thing to earth, and it's up to a few well-meaning students to stop him after the Japan government promises to give 100 million USD to anyone who can stop him.
